Future airspace strategy implementation south

The CAA and the Department for Transport (DfT), have commissioned NERL to establish an impartial team known as the Airspace Change Organising Group (ACOG) to lead the programme to create a coordinated implementation plan for airspace changes in Southern UK. This is being referred to as the Masterplan for short. Cardiff is one of 16 airports located within the southern part of the UK, known as Future Airspace Strategy Implementation (FASI) - South, progressing through a formal Airspace Change Proposal. 1.2 Future Airspace Strategy Implementation (South), known as FASI(S), is the umbrella name for the concept to modernise air traffic services (ATS) in the South East of England. This is a collaborative exercise between 15 airports, and NATS as the UK’s en route air navigation services provider (ANSP). Future Airspace Strategy Implementation- South (FASI-South) Programme of airspace changes in the next few years. 16 NERL have been commissioned by the DfT and the CAA, as co-sponsors of airspace airspace, initially focusing on the period until the end of 2024. Today (1st Sep 2018), the Future Airspace Strategy VFR Implementation Group Ltd (FASVIG) is renamed as Airspace4All Ltd (A4A). FASVIG was incorporated in June 2015 to be the legal entity behind applications for funding for what was then the Future Airspace Strategy (FAS).
