Petrobras oil production

The 33,000 tonnes (36,000 short tons) rig was converted by Davie Industry, Lévis, Canada to the world's largest oil production platform. P-36 was operating for Petrobras on the Roncador Oil Field, 130 kilometres (80 mi) off the Brazilian coast, producing about 84,000 barrels (13,400 m 3) of crude per day.

At a breakfast with journalists, Petrobras Exploration and Production Director Carlos Alberto de Oliveira said the firm would produce more than 2.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) Petrobras reports that in 2018, its total production of oil and gas, including natural gas liquids (NGL), was 2.63 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), of which 2.53 million boed produced in Brazil and 101,000 boed abroad. However, Brazil represented 92% of Petrobras' worldwide production in 2014 and accounted for 97% of Petrobras' worldwide reserves on 31 December 2014, when the company had 8,112.8 million barrels of oil equivalent (4.9633 × 10 10  GJ) of proved developed reserves and 4,599.7 million barrels of oil equivalent (2.8140 × 10 10  GJ) of proved undeveloped reserves in Brazil. The production of oil operated in the Brazilian pre-salt cluster surpassed 1 million barrels per day. This result, achieved fewer than ten years after these deposits were discovered, proves both the technical and economic feasibility of the pre-salt and its high productivity. (5/8/2016). 2012 Petrobras and its partners currently produce about 1.5 million barrels of oil equivalent (oil + gas) per day in the pre-salt. This figure is equivalent to more than half of our total output and is proof of the company’s success operating in this new exploratory frontier. This cumulative production occurred only six years after
